What tools do NGOs in Thailand use?

Thai NGOs use HappyToVolunteer to replace Facebook comments with a real roster. Volunteers book a spot. LINE can remind them. QR check-in records hours for certificates and funder reports. Shop, stock, donor, and route apps sit in the same account.

Why do volunteer signups fall apart?

Saturday needs 15 people. Thirty-two comment “Interested” on Facebook. Nine arrive. The night before, someone on the team messages the list one by one. A student later asks for proof of her hours, and the truth is split across a notebook and a chat.

The software replaces that scramble. It does not replace your staff, and it does not run the event for you.

What does the volunteer software include?

A real roster
Publish a shift with a cap. People book a spot. When someone cancels, the waitlist can fill it.
LINE without the typing
Registration confirmations and reminders go out on the schedule you set, in Thai or English.
QR at the door
Scan attendance as people arrive. Hours are recorded because they happened, not because someone reconstructed them on Friday.
A report when a funder asks
Events, volunteers, and hours can be exported for a board or a grant, from the same attendance record.

What other tools can an NGO add?

These sit beside the roster. Current prices and what is included are on the plans page.

MyShop
A phone till for a handicraft or social-enterprise shop. Tap a photo, record the payment you already took, and the sale lands in your Google Sheet. See MyShop
Smart Donations
Scan barcodes to receive or hand out donated goods. Quantities live in a Google Sheet your organisation owns. See Smart Donations
Donor Book
A private list of people, what they gave, and who to thank this week. Download it back to Excel. See Donor Book
Route Planner
Upload map pins, set drivers, and download route packets for deliveries. See Route Planner
HTV Marketplace
List surplus so another organisation can find it. They contact you on your profile. HappyToVolunteer does not take the payment. See the marketplace
More back-office apps
Receipt scanning, asset QR codes, expense sorting, impact stories, and expiry alerts. Each one has its own page. See all on the plans page

How much does it cost?

Prices are monthly unless you pay annually, when the Operations add-on is included. Volunteers always join free.

How does an organisation start?

  1. 1

    Register

Tell us who you are. One shared login is enough for the team.

  2. 2

    We review

Approval is a check that you are a real organisation. It is not a safety certification.

  3. 3

    Trial, then publish

If it is a fit, the trial starts and you can publish a shift.

  4. 4

    Volunteers book themselves

You check them in with QR. Ask us to enable MyShop or the operations apps when you need them.

What else do organisations ask?

Do volunteers pay you or us?

Neither. Volunteers never pay HappyToVolunteer to book.

Who owns our spreadsheets?

Smart Donations and MyShop write into a Google Sheet your organisation owns. You can keep that sheet if you leave.

Can we add Operations later?

Yes. It is ฿990 a month on monthly billing, or included when you pay for the year.

Who is responsible on the day?

Your organisation. Supervision, safeguarding, insurance, and what happens at the venue stay with you. We provide the software.
