Questions, answered
Clear answers for volunteers, organisations and people who want to give directly.
For volunteers
Yes. Finding volunteering, signing up and tracking your hours is always free for volunteers. Hour reports are informational tools only - we do not guarantee acceptance by schools, กยศ., employers, or authorities.
No. HappyToVolunteer is a technology marketplace only. Organisations create and run opportunities. We do not supervise events, employ volunteers, or guarantee any organisation, volunteer, or listing. Details are in our Terms of Use.
The organisation's listing may allow a waitlist. Our software can notify the next person if a spot opens. We do not run the event and cannot guarantee a place or that the organisation will honour the waitlist.
Yes, until the organisation's cancellation deadline (default: 2 hours before the event starts, unless the organisation sets a different rule). Cancel early so someone on the waitlist can take your spot. Disputes about cancellations are between you and the organisation.
No, but linking LINE helps you get booking confirmations and reminders where you already chat. You can still use the site without it. Message delivery depends on LINE and is not guaranteed.
On-the-ground safety is the organisation's responsibility, and you participate at your own judgment and risk. HappyToVolunteer is not the organiser and is not liable for injuries, accidents, misconduct, cancellations, travel, or other issues at events. Consider personal insurance. See our Terms of Use.
We recommend volunteers and organisations arrange cover that fits the activity (for example accident or travel insurance). HappyToVolunteer does not provide insurance and does not guarantee that any organisation is insured.
For organisations
Register your organisation, submit verification details and wait for approval. Once approved, your 30-day trial begins and you can publish events. Verification is limited and discretionary - it is not a safety certification or endorsement.
Publish openings, manage waitlists, QR check-in, LINE reminders and PDF hour reports for volunteers (including กยศ. students). After the trial, it is a simple monthly subscription as shown on the site. Fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
Yes. Invite teammates from organisation settings so your team can share the roster and check-in. Your organisation is responsible for everything admins do on the account.
Your organisation is. That includes risk assessments, supervision, emergency procedures, insurance, permits, safeguarding, and any screening required by law or by the nature of the activity. HappyToVolunteer provides software tools only.
Donations
No. Organisation and individual QR codes and bank details go straight to the recipient through your bank or e-wallet. HappyToVolunteer never holds, processes, refunds, or guarantees donation funds, does not issue tax receipts, and does not verify how money is used. This is a technology directory for voluntary peer transfers - not HappyToVolunteer fundraising for itself. Donate only to parties you trust after verifying details yourself. Report suspicious appeals to us and to authorities.
Profiles of hard-working people (like market vendors) with their story, optional creator video and their own QR so you can support them directly. We are not a charity-vetting service and do not guarantee any recipient or outcome.
Legal & safety
